Last night at the historic courthouse in Edenton I was nominated and voted in unanimously to be the new Senator for senate district 1. It was truly moving to see and hear so much support and enthusiasm! John Spruill did a fantastic job chairing the convention,and Rene Etheridge’s nomination speech was epic! Harvey West did a great job honoring Senator Bob Steinburg for his 10 years of dedicated service. I am honored and humbled beyond words for the opportunity to serve so many great folks!
